About The Artist.
Hi! My name is Nur Ashikin Hussin, but some may know me as Eureka from EurekartStudio. I’m a Malaysian artist, illustrator, and small business owner. My work is inspired by nature, colors, celestial elements, and everyday life—blending whimsical and modern aesthetics to create something joyful and meaningful.
The name EurekartStudio comes from my high school nickname, "Eureka," which I got through a fun legacy at Science Muar Royal Academy, where seniors assigned nicknames to juniors. Mine was science-related and that name stuck with me. I guess it felt natural to carry it into my creative journey!
I hold a Master’s in Architecture from Universiti Teknologi Mara, UiTM. I’ve I discovered my passion for art and illustration since I was young. While studying in 2015, I started sharing my art online and debuted my small business at my first event ArtMarketMalaysia. What began as a simple booth quickly grew into a brand that I called EurekartStudio—where I create illustrations and design my own line of products from stationery, art prints, enamel pins, and other merchandise. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with national and international brands like Samsung, Uniqlo, Flow, Lenovo, Galison, Trader Joe’s, Burton, Passion Planner, Stabilo, Mossery, Spritzer, Vitagen and dUCK, among many others.
My love for storytelling and visual art extends beyond illustration—I enjoy exploring different mediums, from digital to traditional techniques. Whether it's designing for products, licensing my artwork, or creating personal projects, I find joy in bringing warmth and liveliness into everything I make.
When I’m not drawing, you can usually find me browsing bookstores, hunting for antiques, or soaking up inspiration outdoors. My goal is always to create art that sparks joy and hopefully inspires others.
